Gained transparency, saved time
Marketing in the building materials industry requires many advertising materials, extensive catalogues and sales documents. Trade partners need to be supported, trade fairs organised. The challenge lies in making these projects efficient. How this can be achieved with a modular MarTech solution is shown by the MMC project for FRÄNKISCHE Rohrwerke.

Trade fair appearances

The family business is present worldwide with 5,000 employees at 19 locations and produces pipes, accessories and system components from metal and plastic. In the past, marketing in the BAU division was not process-oriented; a lack of transparency often caused friction losses.
"Especially when organising trade fairs we had been burned before – after all, deadlines have to be met."

To work efficiently, FRÄNKISCHE Rohrwerke needed a digital solution for its marketing area in the BAU division for the uniform handling of advertising materials and trade fair activities.
This enables the specialist for pipes, shafts and system components to deliver more marketing measures in the same time and prepare for trade fairs on schedule – even when colleagues are unexpectedly absent.

For FRÄNKISCHE, three modules of the Marketing Management Cockpit (MMC) were implemented with needs-based functionality. The focus of the application is on end-to-end production control, efficient collaboration in the marketing team via agile Kanban logic, and secure review and approval of marketing materials.
- Creative & Production Workflows
- Agile Project Management
- Review & Approval Center

Print advertising materials
With the “Creative & Production Workflows” and “Review & Approval Center” modules, FRÄNKISCHE can today organise the production of all print advertising materials significantly more efficiently. All parties involved are automatically reminded by e-mail to contribute their changes and comments in good time in a central online PDF. Stakeholder teamwork works, deadlines are met.
Trade fair appearances
For FRÄNKISCHE Rohrwerke, industry trade fairs are an important building block in the marketing mix. These extensive projects are also managed on schedule, even when colleagues are unexpectedly absent. The reason is collaboration as equals in the “Agile Project Management” module. Everyone on the team coordinates flexibly in Kanban boards and keeps project status, current workload and tasks in view.
Whether clear correction processes, parallel collaboration or central file management – the MMC simplifies complex workflows and delivers more speed, transparency and certainty in the team. Discover the four most important benefits at a glance.
Efficient collaboration
Multiple users can comment on a draft at the same time
Real-time feedback
Everyone sees the others' changes in real time
In parallel instead of one after another
Contradictions between changes are spotted immediately and can be resolved promptly
Seamless correction processes
Correction rounds are completed in full; nothing is forgotten

At NSPYR we simply feel best looked after, because they know what we are talking about and give concrete pointers on how they themselves or other companies have solved the same challenges. This wealth of experience in marketing is worth its weight in gold for us.

Especially when organising trade fairs we need to act flexibly, and that is where the Agile Project Management module in the MMC is ideal. With it we have built a basic structure that we adapt for every trade fair. And there too, for us the greatest benefit again lies in the transparency and the ability for colleagues to cover for each other at any time.
In a survey, marketing staff repeatedly cite transparency and clarity as well as the central repository as beneficial for their work.
With NSPYR we have a specialist at our side that also uses the MMC itself and can show from its own experience how we can sensibly simplify this 'mess' into a single workflow.
